Due to the expansion of our Dental Practice we require an experienced, hardworking and caring individual to join our busy 8 surgery NHS/Private practice.
At Glencairn Dental practice we offer a wide range of treatments from general dentistry to cosmetic and implant treatments .We have our own Dental lab on site, a CBCT and IOS scanners.
Experience using Software of Excellence would be an advantage, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Duties include:
- Perform high quality dental nursing in a safe and effective manner
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment for all procedures
- Follow infection prevention control procedures adhering to HTM0105
- Record accurate dental charting reassure patients, giving appropriate patient advice
- Assist with reception duties booking appointments, taking payments, referring patients to other clinical organisations, and maintaining and updating clinical records
- Be able work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Maintain confidentiality following GDPR standards
We're looking for someone who is:
- GDC registered
- An experienced dental nurse
- Organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- A team player
- Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
- Keen to continue to learn and develop professionally
Post qualifications in Dental Implant nursing or radiography would be an advantage,but we do offer training opportunities to Dental nurses who would like to progress in their career.
GDC registration is essential.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
