Activity Co-ordinators Provide a more vibrant, stimulating environment that enhances the overall living experience and satisfaction of residents in care homes.
- Planning Activities
- Promoting social interactions
- Supporting residents’ wellbeing
- Managing external Visitors and entertainment
- Working with other health and social care professionals to provide holistic care
- Recording and reporting essential information in the residents’ daily reports accurately and immediately (communication systems, care and health monitoring, accident and incident reports)
- Gently encouraging residents to get involved with recreational activities and hobbies
- Giving feedback to health and social care professionals

Experience and Qualifications
· NVQ Level 2 in health and social care desirable
· A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and setting
· Good communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft 360 and confident with using digital devices
