This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation.
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Criminal Justice Team Leader to join our Redbridge Adult Drug and Alcohol Service.
As Criminal Justice Team Leader, you will lead a team of experienced Recovery Practitioners who support people across the Criminal Justice pathway. Alongside managing their own caseloads, the team delivers key activities including continuity of care from prisons and hospitals, outreach and satellite provision, and works closely with probation, the courts and Hospital Drug and Alcohol Liaison Teams to ensure people receive timely, coordinated support.
Team Leaders at Via play a vital role in delivering safe, effective and responsive services. In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to your team, ensuring high-quality case management, effective risk management, and the achievement of service objectives and key performance indicators. You will champion continuity of care across the Criminal Justice pathways, working closely with partners to strengthen relationships and improve outcomes for the people we support.
Working as part of the Redbridge Leadership Team, you will contribute to service quality, performance and continuous improvement, supporting effective governance and
ensuring contractual requirements are met. You will represent Via at partnership meetings and be a positive role model, promoting our values and fostering a collaborative, trauma-informed culture where colleagues feel supported to deliver their best.
What you'll bring
- Experience of supervising or managing staff within drug and alcohol services, criminal justice, or a related health and social care setting.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and effective case management.
- Experience of coaching and developing colleagues to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused practice.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and partnership-working skills.
- A commitment to the recovery model, trauma-informed practice, and improving outcomes for people affected by substance use.

Salary: £38,401 - £40,399, inclusive of London Weighting
