An independent hotel is looking for a kitchen assistant/Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in catering , enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively, a passion for food prep. Must be reliable and a good communicator to work as an integeral part of the team. Equally if you think you could learn this and have no experience, full training can be given. WEEKEND and evenings are ESSENTIAL.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment to Government Food Standards.
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and of the highest quality.
