Are you an experienced fibreglass laminator looking to join a growing and dynamic team in the heart of the West Midlands? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our company based in Kingswinford, specialising in high-quality fibreglass products for a range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Hand-laminating fibreglass components to a high standard.
- Preparing moulds, tools, and materials for the laminating process.
- Measuring, cutting, and laying fibreglass mats and applying resins.
- Identifying and repairing defects to ensure a flawless finish.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines in a workshop environment.
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fibreglass laminator (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of hand lay-up and other laminating techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and equipment used in fibreglass lamination.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience working in sectors such as automotive, marine, or construction.
- Knowledge of gelcoat application and finishing processes.
- Forklift licence (though not essential).
