Working Monday to Friday, you'll play a key role in coordinating care visits, supporting our care teams, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our care service.
About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and managing care schedules, ensuring every client receives the care they need while making the best use of our care team's skills and availability.
No two days are the same. You'll balance forward planning with responding quickly to unexpected changes such as staff absence, new care packages and emergency cover requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain daily and weekly care rotas.
- Allocate care visits efficiently whilst promoting continuity of care.
- Respond quickly to changes including sickness, annual leave and emergency absences.
- Ensure all care calls are covered safely and effectively.
- Monitor visit completion and address missed or late calls.
- Liaise with care staff, clients, families and the management team.
- Support compliance with CQC standards and company procedures.
- Monitor scheduling performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills.
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise changing workloads.
- An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
- Confident using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Able to work collaboratively within a busy office environment.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality care.
Desirable
- Previous experience in domiciliary care coordination or care scheduling.
- Knowledge of CQC requirements.
- Experience using electronic rostering systems.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential).
