Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Extraction & Ventilation Installation Engineer to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of ventilation and extraction systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in construction and equipment repair, ensuring optimal air quality and system efficiency across various projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead installation teams and contribute to the development of safe, effective ventilation solutions in diverse environments.
Duties
- Installation of extraction and ventilation systems in accordance with layout drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on ventilation equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are maintained.
- Interpret technical and engineering drawings to facilitate accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Co-ordinate tasks with the management team to meet project deadlines.
- Perform some site inspections to assess existing systems, identify issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project manager to ensure specifications are met throughout all phases of installation.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of construction activities related to ventilation upgrades or new installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical systems, air conditioning units, or ventilation equipment within construction or maintenance environments.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings relevant to ventilation systems.
- Demonstrate experience in installing equipment on site to relevant standards.
- Proficiency in repair and maintenance procedures for commercial systems.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) installations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively on-site.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
