Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to join our vibrant team at The Masonic Arms on Lark Lane. We are a traditional pub on Lark Lane serving a range of rotational cask ales, cocktails, pies and more. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality to our guests while serving a diverse range of beverages. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience at our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with the ability to engage customers positively.
