Job Summary

Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring all services operate efficiently and effectively
- Lead, supervise, and support administrative and clinical staff to maintain high performance standards
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability
- Implement human resources policies, including recruitment, staff development, appraisals, and addressing staff concerns
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data protection laws, and health and safety standards
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient appointment scheduling and service delivery
- Monitor practice performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and operational productivity
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a healthcare or veterinary environment
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Financial management expertise to oversee budgets, billing processes, and resource planning
- Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff development
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills for liaising with staff, patients, suppliers, and external agencies
- Experience or familiarity with veterinary or healthcare operations is highly desirable
