The candidate should have the following skills.
- Should know how to use Revit, AutoCAD, & Sketchup
- Good amount of Design and Technical knowledge
- Knowledge of Building Regulations & National Space Standards
- Assist architects and senior team members throughout all stages of a project.
- Coordinate architectural information with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants.
- Ensure drawings and technical information comply with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and relevant British Standards.
- Assist with planning applications, building control submissions, and construction documentation.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify technical issues, inconsistencies, or design clashes.
- Attend site visits and assist with inspections and resolving technical queries.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and local authorities where required.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure drawings are issued and managed correctly.
Experience
Ideally, the successful candidate shall have at least 2 years of practical experience in architectural technology and a strong portfolio demonstrating completed projects. Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments would be advantageous.
