As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting residents to live independently, comfortably and with dignity throughout the night.
You'll ensure residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for while maintaining a calm and reassuring environment during overnight hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting residents with personal care
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with mobility and responding promptly to residents' needs
- Carrying out regular welfare checks throughout the night
- Supporting residents with drinks, snacks and comfort as required
- Light housekeeping duties
- Administering or assisting with medication (following training)
- Maintaining accurate care records and handovers
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional overnight care
