Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate <PERSON> vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in good condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues that arise
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and inventory management when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes and manage time effectively
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and long periods of driving
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards
