Know your Victoria sponge from your fruit cake? We’re looking for a skilled and passionate baker to join our friendly team at Rheged.
Our bakers are responsible for producing an exceptional range of bakery products, including breads, biscuits, traybakes, and cakes, all sold in our farmshops and kitchens. You’ll play a key role in delighting our customers by maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring products meet company specifications and are produced in sufficient quantities to meet demand.
Working under the guidance of the Bakery Manager, you will follow production schedules to help ensure all orders are fulfilled efficiently. You’ll contribute to a consistent level of high-quality output, ensuring all items are produced to specification and ready for expected levels of trade.
You will also be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, completing required checks, and keeping accurate records in line with regulations.
This role includes weekend shifts on a rota basis.
