Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on forklifts, , and other heavy machinery to ensure safety and operational efficiency
- Working out on site assisting with machine moving
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Assemble new equipment or replace worn-out parts to minimize downtime and extend machinery lifespan
- Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and maintenance schedules for all equipment
Qualifications
- Forklift licence
- Proven experience in mechanical repair with strong knowledge of heavy equipment such as forklifts
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes for equipment repair or modification
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and general machinery maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors as needed
