About the Role
The successful candidate will primarily support the University's Exams Timetabling Operations (ETO) project, helping to replace the University's legacy exam timetabling system with a modern platform that will transform the way examinations are planned, managed and delivered. Alongside this, you will contribute to a range of service improvement initiatives across Education Services, working with colleagues to identify opportunities to enhance business processes, systems, data quality and reporting.
Working closely with the Head of Student Records and the Head of Student Data Modelling and Analytics, you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the University to understand business needs, analyse current processes and data flows, facilitate workshops, gather and document requirements, evaluate options, and support the implementation of sustainable solutions. You will also contribute to the development of the Student Data Authority, supporting improvements in data governance, information management and reporting that will benefit services across the University.
This is a varied role that combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement and data-focused problem solving. You will work with operational teams, technical specialists and senior stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency, enhance the user experience and support evidence-based decision-making.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and experience of delivering business or service improvement initiatives. You will be confident working in complex environments, managing competing priorities, and building effective relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
If you enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively to deliver meaningful change, and using data to improve services, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects at one of the world's leading universities.
