Retaining UK offers specialist Retaining Wall solutions to the construction industry. Due to exceptionally high demand for our unique product range, we are looking for a number of experienced Groundworkers to form part of 2/3 person fixing gangs installing walling systems on sites throughout the North of England.
Applicants should be experienced Ground Workers with the following:
- CSCS qualified (essential)
- Extensive experience in Drainage, Paving, Flag on Edge, Concreting and Foundations.
- Ability to interpret working drawings
- Knowledge of Laser levelling equipment
- Good understanding of Site Health & Safety
- Dumper & excavator qualified preferred for individual applicants but not essential – however, each gang requires at least one experienced 360° Excavator Operator or Dumper Driver holding a valid CPCS or NPORS plant operator’s qualification
- Driving Licence
The successful candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a team with great communication skills and excellent physical fitness. Knowledge of installing similar retaining systems would be a distinct advantage however training can be provided for the right candidates.
Gangs will be required to travel and a company vehicle will be provided. Overnight stays will be required on occasion.
Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
