Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Front of House Team Member to join our hospitality team. This role offers the flexibility of live-in or live-out arrangements, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth service operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a genuine enthusiasm for guest service and culinary excellence.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise flow during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Support team members during service hours to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating professionalism and teamwork
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Upselling skills to enhance guest satisfaction while increasing sales opportunities
- Basic understanding of food hygiene practices and health & safety regulations
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality services
