Position Overview:
Junior Administrative Assistant
We are seeking an organised, enthusiastic, and proactive individual to join our growing team within the renewable energy sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an expanding company - the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy office while helping to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the customer journey from initial enquiry through to system installation and customer handover, including:
- Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and other channels.
- Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries.
- Scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Collating accurate data and processing network applications for grid permissions
- Scanning and storing installation documentation
- Issuing MCS related documentation accurately
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and filing systems using Microsoft Office.
- Entering installation data into the company's customer management system.
- Greeting customers in our Solar Showroom and collecting relevant customer information
Essential Requirements
- A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Previous administration experience within a sales environment, ideally for an electrical contractor or similar business.
- An interest in renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
