Fidaris is supporting a growing e-commerce business specialising in automotive parts. Our client supplies retail and trade customers through online marketplaces and direct sales channels.
They are a small, fast-moving team working closely with suppliers, couriers and external fulfilment partners. Good organisation, attention to detail and clear communication are essential to keeping the operation running smoothly.
The Role
We are looking for a practical and organised Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the business.
Working closely with the Director and wider team, you will help coordinate orders, customer enquiries, purchasing, stock, suppliers, fulfilment and general administration.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping things organised and making sure important tasks do not get missed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing and monitoring customer orders across online marketplaces and direct sales channels
- Responding to customer enquiries, returns and delivery issues
- Supporting purchasing and communicating with suppliers
- Monitoring stock levels, deliveries and stock records
- Liaising with couriers and fulfilment partners
- Keeping product, order and operational information accurate
- Helping investigate and resolve order or stock discrepancies
- Maintaining spreadsheets, systems and internal records
- Supporting improvements to everyday processes and procedures
- Preparing basic updates and reports for the Director
- Providing general administrative and operational support where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in operations, administration, e-commerce, customer service or business support
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident managing several tasks and priorities at once
- A practical approach to solving problems
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Comfortable using Excel, spreadsheets and online systems
- Willing to take ownership of tasks and follow them through
- Experience with orders, stock, purchasing, suppliers or fulfilment would be helpful
- Experience within the automotive aftermarket would be beneficial but is not essential
