Our client, an established independent used car dealership in the Hereford region, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service and repair, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Vehicle Technician Duties:
- Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work as instructed, to manufacturer and industry standards
- Accurately diagnose faults, ensuring timely and effective repairs
- Report vehicle conditions, safety issues, and performance concerns to the Service Manager
- Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and quality standards
- Ensure work is completed efficiently within set targets and customer expectations
- Maintain comprehensive service records and ensure the workshop operates smoothly
Requirements:
- Ideally, an IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; however, strong "time served" experience will also be considered
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- MOT licence is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong demonstrable experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy dealership environment
- Good team player with a proactive attitude and high attention to detail
