As our organisation continues to grow and development we are looking for an experienced part time SEND lead to join our wonderful team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in ensuring that children are provided with the right therapeutic educational support at the right time, helping to transform outcomes for children with complex needs.
You will require substantial experience managing the SENCO workload within a school or early years setting and have experience working within Early Years. An ability to demonstrates excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
All applicants must have a SEND qualification and successful experience as SEND lead.

RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide support on referrals
- Organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
- Leading and managing SEND provision across the setting.
- Training and mentoring staff in inclusive pedagogy and adaptive practice.
- Collaborating with families, therapists, outside agencies, and specialist teams to ensure children receive the support they need.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on SEN provision to managers.
- Support in maintaining accurate referral and placement records, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements.
- Produce reports on referral activity, placement trends and local authority engagement.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment and referrals including processes across the organisation.
- Deliver effective practice.
