David Alexander Removals & Storage is a well-established, family-run removals company based in Romford, Essex. We are looking for an Experienced 3.5 Tonn Removals driver who is reliable, hardworking and motivated to join our growing team.
This role will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to progress to a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Removals Driver, you will work alongside our experienced crews carrying out domestic and commercial removals throughout Essex, London and the surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Packing and protecting customers' belongings
- Loading and unloading removal vehicles safely and efficiently
- Lifting and carrying furniture and household items
- Dismantling and reassembling furniture
- Delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the move
- Maintaining high standards of care for customers' possessions
- Working safely and professionally as part of a team
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Honest, reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- 4 years Driving experience in a 3.5 Tonn
- Minimum 4 years' experience in domestic and commercial removals
- Able to dismantle and reassemble furniture
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends and nights away when required
Desirable:
- Experience working for a professional removals company
- Knowledge of local roads and surrounding areas
- A willingness to learn and develop within the business
