Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, Office Administrator to join our small home office team for our LGV Training Company. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions and providing excellent support to the Director.The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, and demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities.
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately.
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Answer daily enquires as they come in.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing diaries, bookings and booking tests.
- Support the preparation of reports, correspondence, and presentations as required.
- Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
- Maintain a tidy and efficient office environment
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Demonstrated professionalism with excellent phone etiquette
- Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential for motivated candidates eager to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team and independently.
The role is based at our home in Chichester, we are a small family business looking to add to our team.
The position is Monday and Friday working 9am-5pm, but we may require additional hours and days during school holidays and for holiday cover so flexibility would be required.
Ideally looking for someone to begin mid July to beginning August. Full training will be given.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
