Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Delivery Fitting Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing precise and efficient fitting services for optical products, ensuring optimal visual outcomes and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess laboratory experience and a strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly related to ocular structures. As an Optical Delivery Fitting Technician, you will work closely with optometrists and customers to deliver tailored eyewear solutions that meet individual needs and specifications.
Duties
- Conduct thorough fittings of eyewear, ensuring proper alignment, comfort, and visual accuracy for each customer.
- Utilize laboratory skills to adjust, modify, and fine-tune optical devices with precision.
- Apply knowledge of ocular anatomy to assess fit and identify potential issues affecting comfort or vision.
- Collaborate with optometrists to interpret prescription details and translate them into accurate fitting procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of fittings, adjustments, and customer preferences for future reference.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining fitting procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.
Qualifications
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precise modifications of eyewear.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and educate customers on eyewear care.
- Prior experience in an optical retail or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in all tasks.
