Duties

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare providers.
- Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort while engaging them in meaningful activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in case management to provide comprehensive support for clients.
Skills
- Experience in senior care or assisted living settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques for effective communication with individuals experiencing cognitive decline.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
