Veterinary Nurse – New Modern Veterinary Clinic | East London
Every Tail Vets, an independent veterinary clinic in East Village, Stratford, is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 1–3 years’ experience to join our ambitious team.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care, including nurse consultations, inpatient and theatre care
- Support veterinary surgeons during consultations, surgeries and diagnostic procedures
- Provide nurse triage via WhatsApp: respond to client queries, give appropriate advice and help book appointments when needed
- Support the reception team when required, including answering phone calls and helping with front desk tasks on some days
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with practice protocols and professional regulations
- Dispense and manage inventory and pharmaceuticals in line with legislation, ensuring efficient use of supplies and accurate record keeping
- Provide a calm, stress free environment for pets and clients
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve patient outcomes and client satisfaction
- Participation in creating content for our social media accounts is an advantage
Requirements
- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- 1–3 years’ experience in small animal practice
- Confident communicator by phone, in person and via WhatsApp, with a friendly, approachable manner
- Experience in core clinical nursing skills, including anaesthesia and patient care
- Willingness to embrace modern tech and AI tools for an efficient workflow
- Ability to work well within a small, close knit and supportive team
