Summary
We are seeking a passionate and friendly Barista to join our team at Portsmouth Cruise and Ferry terminal. Based in Portsmouth, this role is vital in delivering outstanding coffee and customer service, contributing to our commitment to hospitality excellence. Opening hours are from 6am until 10:30pm, 7 days a week, with shifts with those hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle food preparation tasks efficiently to meet customer demands.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support team members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Good time management abilities.
- Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
