The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function and manage a team of two. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the quality and technical function, ensuring compliance with food safety, legal and customer requirements.
- Manage BRC, customer, regulatory and third-party audits, as well as site accreditations and certifications.
- Lead, develop and support the QA team, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage supplier approval, technical performance and audits.
- Support NPD, customer onboarding and product launches, ensuring specifications and technical documentation are accurate and compliant.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in an Assistant/Quality Manager role within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of BRC, food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership and people-management experience.
- Experience supporting NPD and commercial teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
