TITLE Coachbuilder/Fabricator
REPORTING TO Value Stream Manager
Based at our production site in Batley.
SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Coachbuilder, you will be part of a team, coach building and assembling components for and to various vehicles, within a busy manufacturing environment.
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Main duties will be (but not limited to) the following:
- Fabrication of aluminium parts such as shelving, brackets, and panels
- Installation of roller shutters, ladder gantries and body panels, door openings, fixture and fittings
- Mounting of polypropylene body work
- Assembly and installation of drawer units and stowage solutions
- General and additional duties as required from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met
- Must maintain good attendance and be punctual
- Must be able to work as part of a team or independently as required
- Must be enthusiastic, hard-working, and reliable
- Should be comfortable working to targets
- Must be able to follow instructions and specifications as required
- Due to the nature of the role, candidates should be able to stand for long periods and have a good level of physical fitness.
- Be able to learn new skills and put them into practice
- Although it is envisaged to be a dayshift role, shift working will form part of your contract.
