Sous Chef, £35-40K + £8k tronc + potential live-in
We are an award-winning village local and destination dining pub situated in a lovely part of the country with good access to the south coast and London looking to hire a sous chef with a minimum of three years experience operating in a 'gastro' environment who shows an energy and enthusiasm for their craft and have the right personality to work in our successful team. Suitable candidates will enjoy the fast-paced life of this busy and successful rural pub and will appreciate working hard in a calm environment, free of ego and over-bearing characters. We have a team of 5-6 chefs each working 4.5 days per week on a split shift basis, cooking fresh, high quality, interesting food. The role could include accommodation, pension, 28 days holiday but most of all a happy, professional and relaxed place to work. We cook fresh local and seasonal global pub food. Lots of opportunities for progression and creativity working under an experienced and long serving head chef and senior sous team.
