Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. A valid driving licence is preferred as the role may require travel to different job sites.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Follow health and safety regulations while working on site to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Painting experience essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism in all tasks undertaken.
