Trade Mastermind is a specialist business consultancy for the construction industry, supporting contractors and construction business owners to scale, improve profitability, and build sustainable companies through structured consultancy, education, and mentorship.
Alongside this, Valente Consulting provides strategic business consultancy to small businesses across a wide range of industries.
Both consultancy brands, together with the personal brand of Joseph Valente, produce a high volume of professional digital content. This includes educational media, interviews, podcasts, social media content, live sessions, client testimonials, and on‑location event content.
We are now seeking an in‑person Audio‑Visual (AV) Content Specialist to take ownership of our content production setup and delivery, ensuring a consistently high‑quality, professional output across all platforms and brands.
The Role
This is a hands‑on, in‑person AV role focused on setting up, managing, and executing content creation environments. You will be responsible for capturing high‑quality video and audio for:
- Trade Mastermind
- Valente Consulting
- Joseph Valente’s personal brand
Working closely with the founder and wider team, you will play a key role in turning ideas into polished content efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities Content Setup & Production
- Set up and manage cameras, microphones, lighting, and backdrops
- Prepare studios, offices, event spaces, and on‑location environments for filming
- Ensure consistently high visual and audio standards across all recordings
- Operate filming equipment during shoots, including talking‑head content, podcasts, interviews, and live recordings
Brand & Client Content Creation
- Capture content for Trade Mastermind, including construction business education, marketing assets, and announcements
- Capture consultancy and thought‑leadership content for Valente Consulting
- Film content for Joseph Valente’s personal brand, including interviews, podcasts, and social media videos
- Support the recording of live sessions, client testimonials, interviews, webinars, and events
- Assist with content batching and structured filming days
Audio & Video Management
- Monitor sound levels, lighting, framing, and overall production quality during recordings
- Troubleshoot AV issues quickly and effectively on set or on location
- Organise, label, and store raw footage, audio files, and backups
- Maintain AV equipment and ensure it is ready and reliable for all shoots
Editing & Content Preparation (Preferred but not essential)
- Edit long‑form video and podcast content
- Create short‑form clips for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
- Clean and optimise audio quality
- Apply basic branding elements, captions, and lower thirds
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in audio‑visual production or professional content creation
- Strong knowledge of camera operation, microphones, lighting, and composition
- Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced, founder‑led environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, self‑sufficient, and solution‑focused approach
Preferred (Bonus) Experience
- Experience filming personal brands, consultants, or educators
- Understanding of social media content formats and platform requirements
- Familiarity with the construction industry or small business environments
- Editing experience using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
