Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. A background or interest in store management, barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application is desirable, along with strong communication skills and a flair for upselling services.
Duties
- Assist senior stylists with colouring, cutting, and styling hair to meet client expectations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and addressing their needs effectively
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling and client check-in/out
- Support store management tasks such as stock organisation and maintaining cleanliness of the salon environment
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
- Apply additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup upon training or request
- Promote salon services through upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to during service delivery
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members
- Experience or interest in store management, barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments effectively
