About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining an efficient work environment.
The role will be based in the fast-paced office environment of MotorVise (Automotive) Ltd in Colburn, North Yorkshire.
This is a permanent part-time position, and we are genuinely flexible on the working pattern. We would happily consider mornings across each weekday, a smaller number of full days per week, or another arrangement that works for you. Our office is open 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am – 5pm on Friday, and we will agree a pattern within those hours at offer stage. Salary from £26,500 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro rata for part-time hours, dependent on experience.
We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible, though we will wait for the right person and can accommodate notice periods.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure all telephone calls are answered in a timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for MotorVise, so a professional and friendly manner is required at all times.
- Ensure all guests are welcomed into the office and offered refreshments.
- Managing all stock in the office following the company requirements and office standards.
- Ensure all travel and accommodation is promptly booked for the MD, the MotorVise team and Automotive Experts.
- Provide a high standard of service and communication with customers with the aim of delighting dealers with the products and services we offer.
- Communicate professionally and effectively by email and telephone.
- Share new ideas to help develop and improve our offering of products and services.
- Support the accounts function with day-to-day administration, including raising invoices and processing expenses.
- Work with the operations team to assist with administration tasks for events, recruitment, mystery shopping, systems, and training services.
The ideal candidate will have

- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with Xero would be desirable but not essential.
