Job Title: Assembly & Warehouse Technician
Based at: Unit One, Alan Alfred Avenue, Fenton. Stoke on Trent. ST4 2 LY
Position Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose Summary:
The role is responsible for assisting the warehouse in the management of Staffs Fitness inventory, receiving stock, goods in, put away, warehouse location, pick, pack and ship and stock accuracy.
In addition to be responsible for assembling fitness equipment from drawings/instructions. The assembly work needs to be completed to customer requirements and quality standards and then prepared for shipping and or delivered to end customers as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· To assist with warehouse operations (Goods in unloading including trucks and receipting of stock, warehouse put away, order picking and packing)
· To build machines for customer orders, ensuring that they are completed to the correct standard and ready for customer delivery.
· To be able to test and check pieces of equipment ensure that the quality assurance system is adhered to for all assembled products.
· To problem solve around faults and identify fixes as appropriate.
· To ensure that all finished products are packed and labelled appropriately.
· To load customer orders for delivery, ensuing correct paperwork.
· Delivering customer orders as appropriate.
· To complete all customer paperwork to the required standard.
· Ensuring that warehouse health and safety standards and tidiness standards are adhered to.
· To ensure that all assembly tools are fit for purpose and properly maintained, liaising with management on any issues.
· To ensure conformance with all health and safety requirements
· To perform any ad hoc duties as appropriate.
Dimensions/Scope of the Job:
- Customer base circa three thousand customers
- Core range of products ranging in price from £100 - £10,000

Pay: £26,437.00 per year
