Care Assistant – Full-Time
Location: Quarry Mount, Swindon
Pay: TBC
Hours: Full-time
Shift pattern: Five days worked over seven, including weekends. Shifts vary and include a mixture of short and long days.

Your responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will:
- Deliver compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s needs
- Support residents with washing, dressing, eating and continence care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help residents remain comfortable, active and independent
- Support the day-to-day running of the home
- Assist with laundry and other light household duties when required
- Use PCS handsets to record clear, accurate and person-centred daily care notes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Follow care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety requirements
- Treat residents, visitors and colleagues with dignity and respect

- Is confident using, or willing to learn how to use, PCS handsets

- Is highly flexible and able to work a varied rota
- Is available to work five days out of seven, including weekends, short and long day shifts, and bank holidays when required
Flexibility is essential for this position due to the varied shift pattern and the needs of our residents.
Previous care experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided. What matters most is your compassion, commitment and desire to support others.
