Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Ceramic Tiler to help us deliver high-quality tiling services in various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and durable surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following design plans.
- Cut and shape tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces and corners, using hand and power tools.
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling, and applying adhesive materials.
- Lay tiles in a pre-determined pattern or layout, ensuring precise alignment and spacing.
- Apply grout and finish joints between tiles.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Repair and replace broken or damaged tiles.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Ceramic Tiler or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and tools.
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Certification in tiling or a related field is a plus but not required.
Pay: £38,800.00-£42,000.00 per year
