Salary: £50,000 (50% bonus opportunity £75,000 OTE)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Consultant to join our growing consultancy team and provide strategic leadership, expert advice, and practical support to care organisations.
The Role
As Lead Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy services across the care sector. You will work with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and support the delivery of outstanding care.
You will lead consultancy projects, build strong client relationships, mentor colleagues, and use your sector expertise to influence positive change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver consultancy projects across health and social care services.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to care providers on quality improvement, compliance, governance, and best practice.
- Conduct service reviews, audits, assessments, and improvement planning activities.
- Support organisations to meet regulatory standards and enhance service quality.
- Develop tailored recommendations, reports, and action plans for clients.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, managers, and care professionals.
- Deliver training, workshops, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for business development and support the growth of consultancy services.
- Mentor and support other consultants within the team.
About You
We are looking for an experienced care professional who combines strong sector knowledge with excellent consultancy and leadership skills.
You will have:
- Significant experience working within health and social care, ideally in a senior leadership, operational, quality, or consultancy role.
- A strong understanding of care regulations, inspection frameworks, and quality improvement approaches.
- Experience supporting care services to improve outcomes and achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to analyse information, identify risks, and provide practical solutions.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Desirable Experience
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Manager, Compliance Lead, or similar senior role.
- Consultancy experience within the care sector.
- Experience supporting services through regulatory inspections or improvement programmes.
- Relevant professional qualifications in health and social care, leadership, quality improvement, or related fields.
