Overview:
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Multi-Skilled Workshop Operative to join our growing team
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, enjoys working with tools, and takes pride in producing quality work. We are seeking an all-rounder who can work independently as well as part of a team in a busy factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Measuring and marking materials accurately using a tape measure.
- Cutting timber to specification.
- Using cordless drills and various hand and power tools.
- Drilling holes in steel components.
- Fixing and assembling timber onto steel frames and structures.
- Carrying out general workshop and manufacturing duties.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area.
- Assisting with other production tasks as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Confident using a tape measure and working accurately from dimensions.
- Experience using cordless drills and hand tools.
- Practical workshop, factory, construction, or assembly experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
