We’re looking for a friendly, confident and reliable person to join our small team at Penelopetom in Totnes, working every Saturday.
Penelopetom is a thriving, independent lifestyle and gift store selling a beautiful range of jewellery, accessories, gifts and homewares. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and will help make sure every customer receives a warm and helpful experience in store.
The role
Your day will include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Offering friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Processing sales and using the till
- Keeping the shop looking beautiful, tidy and well presented
- Replenishing stock and helping with deliveries
- Gift wrapping and preparing purchases
- Supporting the wider team with general shop duties
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- Friendly, approachable and confident talking to customers
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Positive and willing to get stuck in
- Well presented with exceptional attention to detail
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
Previous retail or customer service experience would be helpful, but attitude and personality are just as important.
