Site Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a team and support the delivery of major civil engineering projects. You will manage day-to-day site engineering, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately, and to specification. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with strong setting out experience, QA knowledge, and AutoCAD skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day setting out in line with design drawings
- Produce and maintain accurate as-built surveys and records
- Prepare and complete QA documentation and inspection records
- Supervise works on site to ensure safety and quality standards
- Maintain site records including daily diaries and progress notes
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and designers to resolve technical queries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Strong setting out experience using Total Stations and GPS
- Experience producing as-built records and managing QA documentation
- Competent in AutoCAD
- Good understanding of construction methods and specifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations
- Relevant qualification such as HND, HNC, or Level 6 degree, or equivalent experience
- Valid MAPs (Managers and Professionals HSE Test) certification
