Thortech International Ltd is looking for a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to join our expanding resin surfacing team.
The role will involve supervising the installation of resin-bound and resin-bonded surfacing systems across a variety of projects. Although our office is based on Penarth Road, Cardiff, this is primarily a site-based position. Applicants must be willing to travel and work away from home throughout the UK when required.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervising resin-bound and resin-bonded surfacing works
- Organising site operatives, materials, tools and equipment
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Coordinating daily activities with clients and other site contractors
- Conducting site briefings and ensuring RAMS are followed
- Monitoring progress and reporting any issues to management
- Completing relevant site paperwork and quality records
- Assisting with surface preparation and installation when required
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and safe
- Representing Thortech professionally while on site
Experience and requirements:
- Previous experience within resin surfacing, construction or a similar site-based role would be advantageous
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred
- Knowledge of resin-bound and resin-bonded systems would be beneficial; product-specific training can be provided
- A valid CSCS card is preferred
- Good communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage a site team effectively
- Willingness to travel and work away from home throughout the UK
- Able to undertake practical and physically demanding work when required
- Strong commitment to health and safety and high-quality workmanship

Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
