Learning Mentor (Part-Time) –

About the Role
KICK, a Christian charity dedicated to transforming young people’s lives through sport and support, is seeking a passionate and motivated Behaviour support worker to join our team in Stoke.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a school setting, supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, improve their wellbeing, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to students, creating and reviewing tailored support plans
- Support improvements in attendance, behaviour, and academic achievement
- Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions where required
- Build strong relationships with students, parents/carers, and school staff
- Support students with emotional and behavioural needs, including reintegration into school
- Assist with clubs and enrichment activities (e.g. homework or breakfast clubs)
- Attend multi-agency meetings and collaborate with external support services
- Support transition programmes, including summer school activities
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a committed Christian, aligned with KICK’s mission:

- Has experience working with children or young people
- Is passionate, proactive, and solutions-focused
- Can engage, inspire, and motivate students from a range of backgrounds
- Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
