In this role, you’ll provide essential support to individuals who need help with daily living, personal care, and emotional wellbeing. You’ll be supporting clients who may be elderly, living with dementia, or requiring palliative care — and your work will directly improve their comfort, independence, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and dressing.
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional reassurance.
- Assist with medication, monitoring wellbeing, and reporting any changes.
- Help with mobility, gentle physical activities, and safe movement around the home.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable environment through light housekeeping.
- Keep clear records of care provided and communicate any concerns.
- Supporting people to access the community
Requirements:
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — we value kindness above all.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- A caring, patient attitude when supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- A driving licence is preferred but not required.
