Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within private homes, ensuring a high standard of service. Prior experience in cleaning or related fields is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in clients' homes
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, paying attention to detail in kitchens and bathrooms
- Follow client-specific instructions and customise cleaning routines as required
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments within allocated timeframes
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards clients at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial or domestic cleaning is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping can be beneficial
- Skills in cooking or customer service are considered advantageous, especially when interacting with clients
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques or hotel standards is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
