‘Source’ is the University of Bristol’s award-winning catering brand and are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to take the role of Catering Assistant within its flagship outlet in Senate House, whereby we operate a food court and a student bar. The role will suit someone who has experience in catering or hospitality and can demonstrate hospitable and hard-working qualities.
This is an amazing opportunity that provides work-life balance, training & development, working alongside a large and supportive team and involvement in exciting food & drink projects. The contract is 35 hours a week with paid overtime, generous annual leave as well as extra paid days off for university closure days. Whilst mostly Monday – Friday, occasional weekend work will be included.
Our Catering Assistants are the friendly faces serving our students, other university staff and visitors and delivering great customer service.
The successful candidate will be preparing and serving food and drink whilst delivering great customer service. We will train you in all areas of service as required including barista training, bar training, event service and generally looking after our students and customers as part of a team.
- Hospitality experience in food service and dealing with guests
- Experience of working within a diverse team
