Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness standards by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or hazards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to supervisors promptly
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas
- Maintain a tidy storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment after use
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliability and punctuality are essential to ensure timely completion of daily tasks
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment use is advantageous
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean environment
