Bank Support Workers Required - Reigate / Merstham, Surrey
Pay: £15.44 per hour (Weekdays)
£17.66 per hour (Weekends)
£21.00 per hour (Bank Holidays)
Shift pattern: 8:00am to 6:00pm

On behalf of our client, Head First is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Bank Support Workers to join an established support team assisting a 39-year-old gentleman with an acquired brain injury living in his own home in the Reigate/Merstham area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working collaboratively, supporting rehabilitation goals, and helping someone maintain an active and fulfilling lifestyle.
Whether you already have experience in brain injury support or are looking to broaden your knowledge and skills, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
About the Client
Our client has a military background and is a highly motivated, positive individual with a great sense of humour. He enjoys:

· Going to the gym
· Swimming
· Community activities
· Socialising and meeting people
· Maintaining an active lifestyle
Following an acquired brain injury, he requires support with daily living activities, rehabilitation, and accessing the community. While he has some physical limitations, he is committed to maximising his independence and continues to make excellent progress.
He values consistency, encouragement, and support from a team who share his determination and positive outlook.
Please note: The client has both cats and dogs in the home.
The Role
You will work as part of a dedicated support team providing person-centred support and assisting the client to achieve his rehabilitation and independence goals.
Responsibilities include:
· Supporting daily living activities
· Meal preparation and domestic tasks
· Supporting community access and social activities
· Assisting with rehabilitation programmes
· Supporting mobility and physical activity
· Encouraging independence and confidence
· Working closely with members of the client's multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, including Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists
· Accurate record keeping and communication with the wider team
· Weekday shifts
· Weekend shifts
· Bank Holiday shifts
· Occasional evening shifts
Additional support requirements
As a bank worker, there are no guaranteed hours; however, opportunities are available on an ad hoc basis to meet the client's support needs.

Essential Requirements
· Full UK driving licence
· Ability to travel reliably to the Reigate/Merstham area
· Enhanced Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one; costs will be covered by the employer)

· Right to work in the UK
