Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and control of raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and production facility.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Production Team, you will help ensure materials are available when required, deliveries are processed efficiently, and stock is maintained accurately.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing vehicles using a forklift truck.
- Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries of raw materials, packaging, and other goods.
- Picking and delivering materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules.
- Returning and accurately booking back into stock any unused materials from production.
- Preparing finished goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are picked correctly.
- Carrying out stock movements and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Safely storing goods within designated warehouse locations.
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory audits.
- Keeping warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
- Reporting any damaged stock, equipment defects, or safety concerns.
- Supporting other warehouse and production activities as required.
Essential Requirements
- Current Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems.
- Previous experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
- Additional forklift qualifications (Reach Truck, Bendi, etc.).
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
