Part time Home Cook
We're looking for a reliable, friendly cook to prepare evening meals for our family in Wheatley, Oxford.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 5:00pm–7:00pm (10 hours per week)
There is a little flexibility with timings.
We're also happy to hear from people who can't commit to all five days.
Pay:
£18–£25 per hour, depending on experience and suitability. Looking for the right person over the right hourly pay. Self employed.
The role includes:
- Planning a weekly menu with the family
- Ordering ingredients through an online supermarket
- Preparing a fresh, home-cooked evening meal for a family of four (main course and salad)
- Setting the table and serving the meal
- Clearing up afterwards and putting away any leftovers
- Keeping the kitchen tidy and organised but no deep cleaning.
We're looking for someone who:
- Lives locally to Wheatley or can drive here reliably
- Enjoys cooking delicious, home-style food (this is not a restaurant or chef-level role)
- Is organised and happy to plan meals and manage food orders
- Speaks good English
- Loves Indian food (a big plus!)
- Portuguese language skills would be an added bonus but not essential!
